This WarioWare-like game was made with the entire 2017-2022 Game Design year (i.e no Game Artist were involved).
Each student was in charge of two mini-games to design, program and integrate for a total of +80 mini-games.
Workflow
The project lasted only 3 months.
At the beginning of the project, each one of us put the concept and the documentation around 2 mini-games.
These concepts were then randomly distributed, accordingly with their difficulty, to each person of the class. Obviously, we couldn't have fallen on our own concepts.
The last month was used for the debugging and testing phase.
My Concepts
My 2 concepts were very influenced by the pop culture and the idea was to propose small references to very famous series by adding the grotesque side that we love so much in WarioWare.
Dinventoryablo
The inventory system of Diablo being already a mini-game in itself, I had to adapt it to the exercise and propose an offbeat side with items to put away in his inventory in a time limit that have nothing to do with the original game.
Hell Memory
Hell Memory is a game where you see an object passing between two curtains.
You have to memorize it then recognize it among objects that look very similar to it.
